LeatherWalk 2022 and More!

• LeatherWalk is this Sunday, October 15!
  • Meet at 11 am in Civic Center Plaza (Polk St), across from City Hall.
    • Welcome remarks from State Senator Scott Wiener and Supervisor Matt Dorsey. 
    • Receive a free "LeatherWalk 2022" commemorative pin.
  • Step off: 11:30 am.
    • Visit favorite SOMA locations for fun, friends and fundraising!
    • Enjoy favorite watering holes, food, and District shopping.
  • Visit the Ringold Leather History Walk monument (roughly 1:45 pm).
    • Hear a “Blessing of the Leathers” by John Brett, Minister, SF Night Ministry.
  • Afterwards dive into the Bearrison Street Fair, a celebration of body positivity.
  • Watch the Leather Pride Flag raising at Eagle Plaza (roughly 3 pm).
  • Volunteer to help with LeatherWalk.
  • Contribute to our LeatherWalk 2022 fundraising campaign. Benefits the LEATHER & LGBTQ Cultural District.
     
• October 15 is a full day and night of fun in SOMA:
  • The SOMA West Farmers Market 
    • Fresh fruits and vegetables and delicious prepared foods.
    • Open from 9 am to 1 pm, every Saturday through October.
  • The Bearrison Street Fair 
    • On Harrison Street, from 10th to 13th Street
    • Noon to 6 pm
    • Produced by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and the Bears of San Francisco.
    • The event promotes body positivity for all.  Anyone 18+ is welcome. 
    • It's not too late to sign up to volunteer! 
    • The event is free, but donations are welcome at the gate.  VIP tickets are available here. (Purchase in advance for discount).
  • The LDG’s Fetish Fair
    • At Transform1060, 1060 Folsom Street
    • From 3:30 to 8:00 pm
    • Presented by the San Francisco Leathermen’s Discussion Group
    • A great way to see, talk to, and perhaps try scenes with vetted, talented, experienced kinksters in a fun and safe environment. 
  • The Post Fetish Fair Play Party immediately follows the Fetish Fair
    • Presented by GearUp Weekend and San Francisco Leathermen’s Discussion Group
    • A hot, fun, 18+, men-only play party, starting at 8 pm, at 1060 Folsom Street.  
    • Doors open until 11 pm, play until 1 am.

Birthday Bash Beer Bust at SF Eagle

• Sunday, October 23, from 3 to 7 pm, at the SF Eagle
• Celebrate the birthdays of Mark Hankins, Mr. SF Eagle Leather 2023, and Cal Callahan, our own District Manager!
• Krewe de Kinque Mardi Gras is bringing the party!
• Beer/Soda Bust featuring hot sausages on hot buns, served up by hot pups!

Erotic Storytelling Hour

• Join us for an hour of kinky, literary fun on the Second Thursday of each month, from 8 to 9 pm.

THEYFRIEND comes to Oasis

• Diamond Wave presents the second-annual THEYFRIEND Festival,
• Uplifting, centering, and celebrating nonbinary identity!
• Held during Transgender Awareness Week, at various locations throughout San Francisco.
• Includes the THEYFRIEND Nonbinary Happy Hour:
  • Friday, November 18, 5-7 p.m., at OASIS (298 11th St, San Francisco)
  • In partnership with Oasis, the LEATHER & LGBTQ Cultural District and Realest Exposure
